Shop Manager
Purpose of the job:
The Store Manager supports the owners in achieving the overall goals of the shop. In the absence of the owners, the Store Manager acts as a floor manager and ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the shop.
Challenges :
The Manager acts as manager and is the point person for the team of consultants.
The Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the daily operations and must make all necessary decisions and take all necessary actions to ensure excellence in operations and customer service.
The Manager plays a key role in creating and maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment within the team of advisors.
At all times, the manager must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards his/her colleagues.
Finally, the Manager must work closely with the business owners in all tasks aimed at achieving the shop's overall objectives (purchasing, restocking, promotions, ...).

Responsibilities:
Management of daily operations:
- Open and close the shop;
- Manage merchandising activities;
- Ensure the quality of the visual presentation of the shop and the cleanliness of the premises at all times;
- Coordinate daily inventory management activities;
- Ensure the proper application of policies and procedures related to daily operations and sales;
- Support the team in all customer service related needs (complaint management, special cases, etc.);
- Be attentive to customer feedback and communicate all relevant information to the owners;
- Support the owners in all other tasks related to the overall management of the shop.
Human resources management:
- Creating and maintaining a positive and pleasant work environment, in line with Tony Pappas' values;
- Ensuring the development of each employee's skills and identifying training needs;
- Annual performance evaluations of employees.
Requirements for the position :
- Completed high school diploma
- Knowledge of the LIGHTSPEED cash register system (an asset)
- Bilingual (French spoken + written and English spoken)
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a retail management position

Schedule :
- Availability on weekdays and weekends
- Shop hours: W-W-W 10@18 / D-F 10@19 / S 10@17 / D 12@17 (Sundays closed in summer + closed for summer holidays from 17 to 24 July)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: $52,000.00 per year
